Urethra

Urethra is a thin fibromuscular tube at the lower opening of the bladder which also connects the ductus deferens in males for the ejaculation of sperms.

Urethritis is a bacterial or viral Infection that causes swelling & irritation of the urethra. It's commonly caused by a sexually transmitted Infection.

Signs & Symptoms

• Burning with urination.
• Discharge.

Treatment

• Treatment involves antibiotics which stops the growth of or kills bacteria.
• Analgesic. (Relieves pain.)
